Adopting a dog

You can find Finnish descriptions of all of the homeless dogs here.

Dogs are always rehomed after a veterinary check and are:

  • neutered/spayed

  • microchipped

  • vaccinated

  • dewormed

Microchips are registered in both Turvasiru and the Finnish Food Authority registry.

Dog adoption fees are agreed on a case-by-case basis and help cover veterinary and care costs.

Home applications are accepted through our adoption form.

Please note that we do this work voluntarily in our free time, so we may not be able to respond immediately. We will contact applicants if we have a dog that matches their home situation.

Please remember that not all dogs in our care are publicly listed due to their background.
